Riders for Africa

“Reiter für Afrika” is an initiative of riders and horse people under the umbrella of our association Partnerschaft für Afrika e.V. Committed riders carry out raffles or other activities in their clubs and hereby support the projects for children of “Partnership for Africa”.

Some well-known companies (see sponsors) are among the supporters. So, if you want to become active yourself, or even motivate your own association to take part in a joint action, you can make a real contribution to improving the living conditions of local children.

A number of prominent riders are committed to our good cause – first and foremost Uta Gräf, Bernadette Brune, Flora Keller and Ingrid Klimke support our work.

At this point we would like to commemorate our “ambassador horse” Famoso, who unfortunately passed away much too early in spring 2024. Famoso was presented by the internationally successful dressage rider Benjamin Werndl and was owned by Flora Keller. Famoso started for our good cause – that is, the prize money went directly to our projects. He succeeded “Daily Mirror”, who retired from competition in 2022 and is currently enjoying his retirement life in the pasture. We are very grateful for what we have achieved together… Flora Keller, who herself has been on site with us many times in recent years, is a member of PfA.

Uta Gräf and Bernadette Brune, both internationally successful squad riders, are godparents for children in need. They support our children with initiatives and donations and, as ambassadors, contribute to making our initiative and our projects known.
