Young people with a degree
We have supported around 130 young people through our educational programs to achieve a school, training or secondary qualification. Today they are electricians, carpenters, teachers, lecturers, doctors, accountants, social workers, meteorologists, tourist guides, IT specialists – to name just a few examples.
Eric successfully completed his medical studies with our support and now works as a doctor at the Evangelical Hospital in Arusha.
Athuman was once one of the first orphans to come to our Living Water orphanage. We helped him with his studies with a bachelor’s degree in human resources. Now he is employed in our Yakini schools as a human resources manager and takes care of the 120 employees of the LWCC.
Andolelia is an electrician after successfully completing her vocational training after school. She currently works for the state-owned energy supplier, as does Gabriel, Einoth’s brother (see above).
Godlistern went through the entire school career at our Yakini schools and graduated from college with a degree in communication and media. He now works as a photographer for a safari operator.
Paulo, Jennifer and a few other graduates studied to become teachers and are now employed as teachers at various state and private schools.
We supported Stella in her studies, then she went to the military, where she now holds a leading position.
